Bill Hunt, ex-ed Ceramics Monthly, compiled a detailed list of
frits in the May 1978 issue, including Seger data, and the main then
makers (Ferro, Pemco, Hommel) now refuse to release any data on their
frits, and deny updates on his data.
Perhaps someone on the list can scan the article, capture it
electronically, and send it to you. Or you can order a copy from CM
itself.
Meanwhile, new makers have appeared; one (Fusion Ceramics),
perhaps more, are offering frits to industry and Fusion issues a pamphlet
with anaylses of its frits (I don't think Fusion has a website currently).
I would expect that the new manual being readied by Tony Hansen
will contain up-to-date frit data. He plans to issue it this year, chiefly
through Steven Branfman's book-store.
