I've used one of Behrens 50=25clay glazes for years and yes it does =
interesting
things in the bucket.

50=25 Tennessee ball clay------25=25Sodium Bicarb------ =
14=25Borax------11=25gerstley
borate

Use on greenware or thinly on bisque.

For the first few weeks it is a nice smooth under glaze, then small =
chrystals
start forming in the glaze. This makes a good patterned under glaze. But the
chrystals keep getting larger until its spotty and you have to strain it =
and
desolve the chrystals or crush them.
