I AM impressed with the response which Elizabeth Priddy received=21 I would =

to volunteer as the Next Critique Site.

I will preface the visit by stating that as a ceramist, I am just getting my
feet muddy ( I have only been at this full time professionally for less than=
a
year). I am very interested in applying for graduate school in the next two =
or
three years and am slowing building my portfolio to that end. In the =
meantime, I
hope to approach more galleries about carrying my work and hosting =
exhibitions.
As far as the critique is concerned, it would really be helpful to hear from=
the
ceramics community. Coming from a classical sculpture background, it has =
been a
challenge to find my place within the fine arts and craft community. I ended=
up
spending a semester after college at the Appalachian Craft Center, studying =
with
Vince Pitelka and attempting to tackle these issues. I have sorely missed =
the
feedback and critiques since then, and would appreciate a few words. Thanks =
