Hey y'all:
First I want to apologize for not being able to make it to NCECA this
year! I doubt I will be missed but I want you all to know it was great
meeting you guys last year.I really wish I could make it. Anyway, I
bought A used Shimpo a few monthes ago and am growing very weary of
trimmings, slip and all that wet stuff flying all over my studio and
patio. I am really short of cash since I quit my teaching job and have
afamily of seven. Don't ask why, it's a long story. I am hoping someone
might have aused old Shimpo splash pan they can sell for a good price.
Maybe someone can suggest an alternative. I also need one for my old
Brent wooden kickwheel that i built 25 years ago. I would appreciate
any feedback on this. My last post was almost completely ignored, but
thanks to Lowell Baker for answering my question. You are a true scolar
and a gentleman.

Thanks,
Craig

Craig -
If you check auto-supply stores and the automotive section at Walmart, you
can find a variety of metal and plastic oil-drain pans. These can be
adapted in a variety of ways, and will serve the purpose very well.

Craig,
I have a splash pan that came with the used shimpo I bought.
I take classes with Robert Piepenburg and I have never used
a splashpan at school, have tried at home and hate it.
So e-mail me at klindsay@aol.com and we'll talk.
