Try this :

Make a cone of clay with a horizontal hole at the top. stick short
lengths of Nichrome wire into it horizontally so that it looks a bit
like a Christmas tree. bisc. fire. the beads can then be fired without
the usual problem of sag that you get with the "washing line" method
the hole in the top is for Raku firers: you can lift the whole rig
complete with beads into the sawdust bin and out again without loosing
any. ever tried searching through burnt sawdust for beads!!!
