Hi,
Does any one out there know where I can get small submersible water pumps for
a class project at a good price. We have a very low budget and are looking to
try to get it as low as maybe $10 - $12. We will be purchasing 12 to 15 of
them.

Does anyone out there have any information on Potterycraft in the UK. I am
looking for an address, phone, e-mail, anything. I need a replacement part to
an old kick wheel I have of theirs (model is Gilbert). Any help would be
greatly appreciated.

Thanks to all in advance. Judy in Baltimore where the weather is in the
60's and is supposed to drop to the 30's in the next hour or two. Keep those
wheels a spinnin'.

Judy,

Grainger is a good source for affordable small submersible pumps. They
offer several types of Little Giant brand and Teel. They have a website
at: www.grainger.com

They accept major credit cards for payment or can send c.o.d. or may
accept Purchase Order from the school.

Re your submersible pumps - try a water garden centre - I doubt very much
they will be less than $50 (for a cheap one), but they may have some
suggestions for you. Good luck.

In the Lou Davis Wholesale Ceramic & Craft Catalog, there are several.
There is one that is $8.95 for one if you order 12 they are only $7.95 ea.
I ordered one of these to see what they were like and even tho the pump is a
little larger than I wanted, they have a 24" max water height. The size is
2" H x 1 7/16" W x 2 3/8" D. There is a cord and accessory package to
change direction and speed of water flow. The toll free # is
1-800-748-7991. Address: Lou Davis Wholesale, N3211 County Road H, P.O. Box
21, Lake Geneva, WI 53147. Fax: (414) 248-6977. My husband was an art
instructor for 25 years and he used the catalog quite often because of the
reasonable prices.

Judy,
Try Pet Warehouse 1-800-443-1160. I have had good luck with the Aqua
Pump. I think the model # may be 603553 (double check that when you
call, I don't have the catalog with me, this info is from an invoice).
If you order ten or more, they cost about $10.50 per pump.
Hope this helps,
