Harlan House is best known for his fine porcelain work that explores old
traditions, especially those created by Chinese potters of the 10th through
13th centuries.
Vancouver-born, he began his career as a potter during his studies at
Alberta College of Art where he graduated in 1969. He has received many
awards, has lectured extensively and has work in many national and
international galleries.
