It just occurred to me, relative to the recent discussion about using a
kiln for both raku and ^10, is that if you use heavily copper saturated
glazes and slips in your raku firings, the kiln bricks can absorb
copper, which volatilizes during the raku firings. When you fire to
^10, the bricks may actually melt. On the up side, you get a pretty
cool red/green lava flow effect on the inside of your kiln walls.
