i have added a third drawing to the clayart page.
it shows the string cutting system.

or if you have trouble just go through my webpage...you don't have
to look at stuff.

some of you use blades and knives.
the typical japanese system is to pull a string through the moving
hump......it is about a thousand years old, so give it a try.
it is hard to do, but the quickest and most efficient.
i do not defame the use of blades......but it becomes a three step
process.
i am not sure that compression is needed at this step....if other things
are done correctly.
and drying is proper/
well just for the sake of giving some old facts.

say, that martell is a snappy guy....i hope you can all meet him
some day. he is a peach.
smart, quick and knows his stuff.
has a great deal to offer. he is that wonderful combination of teacher,
potter
and has good science.
he is a young nils lou....and much better looking than ron roy.
but from the same mold.
