Peter, You are probably right, but I play it safe anyway. I did so many =

over the years, and now that I'm in late middle age, they are all coming =
back to
haunt me. The way I see it, my body has absorbed as much abuse as it can =

this lifetime. There are probably other people like me buying pottery. So I
tend to put something safe on the food surfaces, and the pretty
barium+copper+whatever glazes on the outside of the mug, the rim of the =
plate,
etc.
