The Ceramic World According to Chuck, Thursday, March ll, 7:30 - 8:30 at
the Gardiner Museum of Ceramic Art, 111 Queen's Pk., Toronto.

All the way from Red Deer, Alberta, Chuck Wissinger will be in Toronto
for one day only! Don't miss this provocative talk which will look at
the history of ceramics and how we as humans relate to it. In Western
Civilization, we have lost our sense of place in the time/space
continuum. Using prehistoric, historic and contemporary ceramics as
examples, he will look into the ways in which ceramics and our social
customs, culture and history interrelate.

Chuck Wissinger is the Head of the Ceramics Department at Red Deer
College in Alberta. He has had numerous exhibitions in North American
and abroad. He is known for his mixed media sculptural work and his
thought provoking outlook on ceramic history.

Free program. To reserve a seat, phone 4l6 586 8080.

Hope you can join us! Best, Sue Jefferies, Gardiner Museum
