To All ,
if you are going to use our pot forms and symbols , Please ---- read up and
understand our culture first . Then these tense discussions would not arise
.. For in trying to understand us , you probably would be able to
differentiate between our religious and commonly used symbols . It would be
similar to writing Arabic curse words on pottery , thinking the images
looked pretty .
And I also add that you cannot hold people living now , responsible for what
was done in the past , what we can do is illustrate that Amerindians are
capable of love / forgiveness and tolerance . Our cultures will survive if
we believe in them , practice them and educate all about their importance .
