Greetings to all you clayarters!.........

I will also be coordinating a discussion on Friday at
NCECA and am excited about the things that might evolve from
the group.

I am currently a High School Ceramics teacher with past
experience as a 2-D art teacher for a number of years at all
levels including college. Having been involved in the
implementation of "Discipline Based Art Education" within
school art programs, as well as National, State and District
level standards, I thought it might be interesting to
provide a forum where public ed. folks can talk about how
they're incorporating standards in their program.......what
works for you? Am hopeful that all in attendance will return
home with an abundance of new ideas for practical
application!

I'd welcome pre-conference input about the
topic.......lesson plan swap?.......favorite standards-based
units?........let me know!

Looking forward to seeing you in Ohio.......and for
those who are not going, but are interested in the topic and
the results of the discussion, contact me and we'll see if
we can put something together.

Regards,
Lynne

Howdy, I can bring the core curriculae in all the art disciplines,
particularly pottery, for the state of Utah and we can discuss, contrast,
and compare.
