in the wild and wooly discussion mention of the difficulty of paperclay
impressions caught me eye. Here is one way of doing it. Place wet paper =
clay
on a kiln shelf or plaster and let dry till its firm enough to smooth out =
the
surface with a flexible steel piece. Now place lace.....oh there are so =
many
patterns available in a fabric shop...............on the clay surface and
lightly and then more heavily hammer the pattern in with a plastic mallet =
(about
one inch in diameter). Voila=21 wonderful impressions=21
