>> On another subject, I work the signup table Wed for the International
Slide Show., so if you know anyone coming to NCECA from another country, be
sure to encourage them to sign up and show their slides. Can't wait to meet
everyone at the clayart room. <<
I'm from another country and was already planning to bring slides for this.
Can you give some more detail? How many, how much time, one showing, should
I bring a carousel, free samples, multi-media, etc.
How does the scheduling work, first come first serve or is it best two out
of three rounds (bare knuckles or do we have to use gloves?)

Russel,
The International Slide Show works like this.
Wed starting at 9am signups, first come gets first choice of time. The
slides are shown from 10 to 4 Thurs and Fri. You get 20 minutes to show
your slides and talk about your work or the pottery of your country or
whatever.
You need to arrive at least 10 minutes before you are due to show your
slides.
It helps to have your own slide tray but there are ones to use if you
don't. This program is run by Mic Stowell and he is doing a great job
with it.
