Carol - "reasonable" and "walking distance" are probably in conflict -
great conflict in Manhattan. However, stranger things have happened.
Try the Salisbury on 57th St. almost opposite Carnegie Hall. they might
have something w/ a tiny kitchen to cut expenses.
good luck - I'm afraid you'll need it. Karen Gringhuis

Carol---as far as NYC--
When i do Lincoln Center, I have stayed at motels near Newark Airport, which
is only about 20 min drive into Jersey.....and a whole lot cheaper than
Manhattan.
Just depends if you want to make the drive.
You can always call the ACAC people for a list of suggestions.
good luck!
Which ever you chose, get ready to spend big bucks!

If you can get a reservation, the Beacon, on Broadway and, I think, 76th
St., also has rooms that include a kitchenette. You'd be amazed how this
cuts down the expense of a trip-- there ain't no such thing as a cheap meal
in midtown Manhattan.

We got a room at the Arlington for 89/night through NYC hotels, I will let you
know in a two weeks if we survived. EP
