Hi, All -
Does anybody have a source for wholesale lampshades? I found a few
sites through a search engine, but they had fancy ones with various designs,
and I want something very plain to highlight the pottery base.
Thanks to all of you for the interesting and informative postings.
This is such a wonderful site, and a godsend for those of us who feel a bit
isolated. Keep up the good work!
Warmest regards, Hannah

Hi Hannah,

Try "Shades by Sheila" from Mississippi. She has several sizes and colors
that are plain. Her number is 800-634-8229. We have had good luck with
her.

If you are going to be making lamps in quantity, a very good source for shades
is Lampshades, Inc. in Chicago. Phone # 773/522-2300. By quantity I mean 48
shades of a size and color. While they can make fewer, the price is much
higher.

I make ceramic lamps and am on the lookout for lamp shade sources. I tried
one company in Miami but I'm having trouble with them. I sent a check, they
cashed it about a month ago but no shades. They haven't returned my calls.
Has anyone had any trouble with this company? It's called Custom Shades and
they're in Miami Florida.
