Hi Midwestern ClayArters,
I've set up a new clay studio in Madison, WI, called Higher Fire. We have a
small storefront gallery space where I'm trying to offer clayworks of many
approaches -- functional, sculptural, tiles, etc. Right now, we're carrying
the work of 8-9 artists, 3 of whom work right there in the studio adjacent to
the gallery. (I am 1 of those 3.)
I'm planning to do 3-4 shows a year; we just closed a solo show of sculptural
ceramics by Ira Slatter. Now I've reinstalled the works of the "regular" 8-9
artists. I'm thinking about an early summer group show and want to assemble a
mailing list of area artists so that I can get the word out.
If you want to be included, and/or have potter friends to be included, please
