While cleaning out and reorganizing my files today, I realized there were
only a few glaze recipes that listed or mentioned any thing about safety and
durability when it comes to food -- Thank you Ron Roy.
I feel quit sure that that is something we all think about so I would like
to suggest that when a glaze recipe is posted that in addition to listing
the cone number and clay used, that we also mention if there was any testing
of ANY kind for durability, food safety or leaching. I think it would an
asset to all of us, especially those new to glaze formulation.
Just a thought.
