There are about six major ones in the UK now
1/ Potfest Scotland [ 150 potters ] June 11 /12 /13TH in Perth
2/ Rufford in early July, Nottingham
3/ Potfest Penrith [ 200 potters ] August 6 /7 /8th in Penrith Cumbria
4/ Art in Clay at Hatfield, Hertfordshire, on the same weekend
Although these two events are 300 miles appart it's a chance to see
up to 400 different potters over the same weekend. Be prepared for
visual overload.
5/ Farnham in Surrey sometime in the Autumn
6/ Bloxham School near Oxford nearer Christmas
The Potfest web site has contact addresses for all the regional potters'
associations in the UK as well as lists of the potters taking part at
both Potfest events. Many of those listed have images of their work
available by just clicking on their name.
