buying the right kiln - l&l plug

I am part of the L&L happy user group, and have to give them a shameless
plug. I have three L&Ls. All are old, and have held up well even though I
fire them to cone 10. The bricks are perfect with no chips out of any of
them. The element holders mean it is impossible to have sagging elements.
Firing to cone 10 really pushes the kilns. Yes, I have to change elements
more often than if I fired lower; yes, I cannot always count on the kiln
sitter to work, but that's my fault for continually pushing them to the
max. I'll either be purchasing the computerized L&L in the next year or
two, or getting the orton controller and move it around.
