To all you North West Pottery folks!! I want to remind you of the Julia Galloway
workshop we are having here at Lewis and Clark College in Portland. Julia is
currently a resident potter at the Archie Bray Foundation. Her soda and salt
fired pots have a wonderful elegance about them and is one of my favorite
potters! Please join us on Wed. March 31 and April 1 from 10am - 4pm The Cost
is $25 for OPA Members and students and $35 for general public. She will
demonstrate,decorate show lsides and Talk about Soda firing. She will also have
a show of her work at the Fifth Element Gallery From April 1-25 at 404 NW 10th
in Portland, A reception for Julia will be on Thursday April1, 6-9pm. at the
gallery. Julias work can be seen in Dec 1998 issue of CM. Any Question please

I had the extreme pleasure of attending a workshop
with Julia Galloway this past weekend and it was
excellent. Julia is a very passionate and sincere
person and it shows in everything she does. Her energy
was so contagious I spent four hours in the studio
yesterday on a creative roll. I recommend anyone who
has the oppurtunity to take a workshop or even talk
with her to do it.
