Does anyone have the recipe for Molly's Blanding raku glaze?
Any tips for getting that incredible blue the sometimes rises magnificently =
with
the reds and pinks?

The Molly Blanding recipe I have used is:
Bone ash---------------200 grams
Colemanite-------------500 grams
Frit 3134------------------25 grams
Nepheline Syenite---100 grams
Cobalt Carbonate------12.5 grams
Copper Carbonate----100 grams
This information came to me from PJ Allen, Wildfire Pottery in a message of
Dec. 4, 1996. He also stated:"Increase cobalt for deeper blue, or add a
little manganese to encourage purples. Like most raku glazes, the higher it
is fired, the glossier the surface."
Hope this helps you.
All the best.
