I want you all to know that Seattle Pottery's price list for books as =
currently
on the Web is WRONG.
I ordered a number of books from them on March 18 and when I got the invoice
with the first shipment, they charged me more for some and less for one. =
They
were unwilling to correct the net overcharge, saying that their web prices =
must
not have gotten updated with the last catalog change.
I checked, and the prices on their website today, April 2, are the same as =
they
were March 18.

Deborah,
I buy from Seattle Pottery a fair amount. I used to buy from them more
often, but the sorts of shenanigans you mentioned in your post led me to
believe that I should seek out a different main supplier.
I suggest in the future that you talk to the very fine folks at Clay Art
Center in Tacoma, WA. They are extremely helpful and can get just about
anything your heart desires at and sometimes below SPS's prices.
Their service is what really distinguishes Clay Art Center - friendly,
helpful and knowledgeable. How can you beat that!?
Erin.

I believe that they don't have a choice whether or not to honor their
posted, advertised prices, web or otherwise. It is called false
advertisement and I would really chew them for it! If you have a problem
keep asking for the next person up the ladder.
