COMING THIS SUMMER - Steve Apadoca, Head of Art Dept. at San Angelo
State
University. Workshop includes firing, throwing and glazes. Steve is an
exciting teacher in art. This is one pottery workshop you will not want
to
miss!
COMING IN SEPTEMBER - Roger Allen and Doug Oertli will be featured in a
workshop with many glazing techniques, air brush glazing, and production
throwing. Both of these teachers have been here for workshops before
and
bring with them a great amount of knowledge to share with other potters.
Doug is a production potter and Roger owns the Old Chicken Farm Art
Center
in San Angelo and is well known for his pottery workshops in Oregon.
JEANIE JONES, owner/instructor of the SCHOOL OF ART has B.F.A.; Art
Education and Elementary Education degrees from Texas Tech Univ. with
majors
in Clay, Painting, and Drawing. Jeanie has taught art and pottery more
than
30 years. The SCHOOL OF ART workshops are well known for excellent
teachers.
