Okay, thanks everyone for your responses to my pipe ash query. Actually, my
neighbor has his pipe burning constantly and I do mean constantly. I =
realize it
may take a while to gather enough but at the rate he smokes, who knows?
Also, in reviewing my raw materials, I find that I have volcanic ash, bone =
ash,
and bone ash synthetic. Now I did look in my Potter's dictionary and don't
really have a clue as to whether I can use these interchangeable (while I am
waiting for enough pipe tobacco ash that is=21) Ha,
Actually found no reference for the volcanic ash at all. Can I use these
interchangeably?
