another (gulp) tile question

I hesitate to ask this but I AM SO CLOSE=21=21=21=21=21 Just need a little =
bit more help.
Several of my tests I just love, among them Wrights Water Blue, the Falls =
Creek
Shino and Pete's green. My problem is that the Falls Creek Shino and Pete's
green seem impossible to appropriately apply onto the tiles. I dip in a =
shallow
bowl for 5 seconds and invariably where the excess drips off on whichever
corner, is where there is a slight glaze discoloration. Other than that =
these
glazes are exactly what I have been looking for. I never thought I'd get =
this
far, I must have tested 60 variations. Perhaps taking the winter off was a =
good
thing, BUT, I need to correct this application problem. Could the glaze be =
too
watery? not watery enough? Or, are these glazes just not appropriate for =
tiles?

Thanks
Diane

I know just what you mean. When I hand dip tiles in glaze, I dip, then turn
the tile right side up as fast as possible, then do a little dance and hand
shimmy, vibrating the upright tile from side to side really quickly to get
the wet glaze to spread out away from the "drip corner" before it dries. If
the glaze coat ends up too thick because you don't let it drip much, dip for
a shorter time. It seems to work for me. Might not work as well on a glaze
that dries instantly.

i would suggest the way that i learned how to glaze tiles. wax the sides
and pour on the glaze=great even coat.
