I have just graduated from Lewis and Clark college, Portland, OR. as a Ceramics
major.
I will be spending some time in Spain for the next 6 months, and I am
interested in taking some ceramic classes there or being involved somehow. If
you have any ideas of places to intern or volunteer in Barcelona or Madrid,
please let me know.
thankyou
Amy Flowerree.

Hi Ted,

I spent 6 months in Spain...a while back....and.....

The 'Escuela Ceramica', in Madrid, might offer a channel to start
with.... and then.......

....you might try to contact individual potteries/potters in 'Puente del
Arthabispo', and 'Talavera de la Reina' ( La Cuidad de Ceramica !)

Check out Toledo, near Madrid and don't leave out possibilities in
Barcelona, tam bien.

A short study at the Archelogical Museum in Madrid could be a good lead
to areas of interest also. It helped me finding areas of interest in
'Lozas de Espana'.

I would be very willing to help..... if you e-mail or call me
privately.

The Centro in Agost may be available. There are studios and a schedule of
courses throughout the summer. Beginning in May. My own course there is
focusing on paperclay. There is one on raku, one on sculptural work. The
Centro is connected with a museum which can use volunteers to help run it.
Contact me directly for further information.
