A fellow potter, not on the cyber highway, wants info about firebox designs
for a 45 cu ft wood kiln including a Bourry (?) box design. Any help out
there? I found one mention about this from June Perry 10/15/98 in the
archives.

Try looking in Frederick Olsen's book: THE KILN BOOK. He knows a lot
about about woodfire kilns and fireboxes.
