Hi all:
What's the secret with using a white crackle raku glaze? I've used it
only twice and both times I get a heavy smoking of the white surface. I
scrub and scrub and get some improvement, but I can't get it all off.
I'm reducing with newspaper and leaving the pot in reduction for about
10 minutes. My wife loves the smoked look -- reminds her of a sawdust
firing -- but that's not what I was going for. There's got to be
something I'm missing.
