Kiln for Sale -- $3500
Gas Car Kiln -downdraft, with natural draft burners, including:
All soft brick
All hard high heat brick in chimney
Metal Stack (should be replaced)
Iron framing and side platforms
Car frame and rails
6 – Venturi Burners with gas plumbing
Electronic shut off system (6 – Baso switches)
21 – Used Kiln shelves – as is – some drips, chips, pits, and small cracks.
This kiln has been fired to cone 10/11 in reduction for less than 25 firings
since it was rebuilt in 1999, with excellent results. Seller will consult
with buyer regarding set up and operation. Kiln located in Goochland County,
just outside Richmond, Virginia. Buyer will need to disassemble and haul
away.

Springfield, MA area. A 90 Cu. Ft down draft gas car kiln. 2600 degree soft
brick in the fire area, 2300 elsewhere and 2000 degree brick outer layer.
Designed by Harry Dedell from Newfane, VT. Brick is laid dry with angle iron
braces. It was only fired 4-5 times. It includes 44 1" cordierite shelves,
posts, an oxyprobe and 2 power burners. Total including taking kiln apart
and numbering bricks for reassembly is $4,800. If you would like pictures,
