Hi:

Actually, a lot or most of the work done by Vivika and Otto Heino is quite
functional and can be used. I have some teabowls they made that are very
functional and I wouldn't hesitate to use them for any sort of beverage. I
have a saltglaze teapot that Otto made that is also totally useable. Their
process was quite different from Beatrice Wood and they did high fire
reduction, wood fire, and salt. Otto is still working hard, when he isn't
tooling around in his Rolls.
