This 5-day workshop will focus on handbuilding and surface treatment
techniques that explore narrative themes and fantastical imagery in lowfire
clay. Wesley will demonstrate the forming of his cups, teapots and
sculptures. Students will make their own handbuilt sculptural forms and
fire in the electric kiln. This is a great opportunity for artists
interested in developing handbuilding and sculptural skills. Anyone looking
to expand their options for electric kiln ceramics, especially teachers,
will appreciate this workshop.
