Hi all,
I am trying to make my own clay from earthenware slip....I left it in
a pail and it is hardened but took over a week....if I use one of my
large molds and just leave all the slip in it will this work better
or does anyone have any advice for this beginner?....Thanks. I am
learning a lot from all of you.

I pass this on: pour it into an inside out pillow slip, tie up the neck
and hang it up where there is a good flow of air. When the outside feels
a little too stiff the inside will be a bit too soft and the combination
when wedged together will be just right!

Works for me
