The estimable Jonathan Kaplan was bemoaning the onus of having to have
"hobby" kilns in his studio.
Sorry, Jonathan, but that is nothing compared to the internal distress
wrought by my situation. I have the misfortune to work with a clay known as
a "hobby body." As if the demotion from professional status weren't bad
enough, the comedic double rhyme doubles the mortification -- and people
have a perverse tendency to repeat the phrase, as if to savor it..."hobby
body."
But this is just observation...you won't catch me bemoaning any oni...
