Dear Clayarters,
Just got back from going to the opening of the Strictly Functional
Pottery show in Ephrata, Penna. Warren MacKenzie, the juror, opened the
show with a slide lecture of his work and influences. Got to visit with
Warren, Jack Troy and several of the potters who had work in the show
(Christopher Chubb,Kevin Hluch,Jill Moodie-Pelligrino,Tina Reuterberg,
Patricia Savignac and Elaine Woldorsky). Jean Lehman does a great job
as project director of this show. A very interesting thing about the
show is that 1/3 of the 99 pieces are wood fired. If you want to visit
