Just two more quick questions. Is Kona F-4 feldspar the same as F-4
feldspar? Also, I wanted to make up Sana's Green and I don't have Pioneer
Kaolin. There's a bucket of EPK/Kaolin/china clay at the community studio.
Can I use this instead? There's also Ky Ball clay and OM4, grolleg and
calcined Kaolin. What do you think?

Dear Carolyn
Kona f-4 feldspar is the same as f-4 feldspar. Soda feldspars have a
minute amount of silica and the balance is equal proportions of soda
feldspar and custer feldspar when it is mined.
Potash feldspar is 1/3 soda spar, 1/3 silica (close to that) and the
rest is potash feldspar.
Soda feldspar melts a cone lower or more because it has more soda in it.
You can use EPK to sub for most kaolins.
