help! can this overfired bisque be rescued?

Can bisque that was way overfired (not sure by how much; quite possibly to
stoneware, which is the end of the line for the clay we use) still be
slipped or glazed and fired? My teacher spaced out her gas bisque kiln and
left it on overnight. To my knowledge nothing melted but I spoke to her
today and she was waiting for it to cool before she opened it.

What do you think? Please reply directly; I subscribe to the digest and
need any info you may have soon. Thanks in advance.
