I am looking for an individual who is actively engaged in pit firing
and has a reputation as a good presenter for the upcoming Alabama
Clay Conference.

A southeastern, native American potter would be the first choice of
the presenters panel but I am open to any and all suggestions.

Lowell, get in touch with the rangers at Little River Canyon National =
Preserve.
One of the rangers has a wife who is Native American, lives in Sand Rock in
Dekalb Co., does native reproductions and has demonstrated at Russell =
Caverns.
I believe she does pit-fire. I used to live near her and she may be willing=
to
do the demo. Can't remember her name though.

Have you thought about Marc Lancet? He just did a huge group pitfire in
Davis, CA at the California Conference for the Advancement of Ceramic Arts.
Great Results and is an excellent speaker.
