The best way I have found to reglaze low fire is to warm the peice up to where
you can hold it comfortably and then redip let dry and refire. Usually works
well. eportor

I spray the pot with the stickiest hairspray I can find and then spray the
glaze on. I have also used a paint burner to heat the pot when I only want
to reglaze the inside. I pour the glaze in and out quickly. Heat it with
the heat gun again and repeat process until glaze is on how I like it.
Some of my students swear by putting an empty pot in the microwave for 30
seconds. It's not for heat. They microwave it at home, bring it into
school and glaze it much later. I've never tried it, but I've got at least
four students who promise it works, and they do refire ALOT.
Good luck.

Someone had mentioned painting the bare place with some kind of modge paint
before re-glazing and I need to know more. Some of the glaze "popped off the
piece also ,so should I sand this places down and some bare places are like a
ink pen has marked on it . This has already been re-fired twice due to me
knicking the piece in ordinary use. It low fire and too gorgeous not to try
and correct. Any help would be great. Thankyou!
