A student of mine is looking for a workshop or class where the teacher
focuses on teaching thrown forms.
Can anyone suggest a class or workshop this summer in the Bay Area?

I am teaching an intensive throwing class from May 10-21, 5 hours/day for ten
days. I taught this during intersession with such success I had to do it
again. everyone was making lidded forms, composite pieces, and good forms by
the end of the class. Contact Colloege of Professional Studies and Lifelong
Learning at Montana State University Billings. Class is limited to 12. 406-657-2

This workshop explores the Leach tradition of pottery with Joe Bennion and
Lynn Munns June 13 to the 19. This 5 day workshop will be held in a
secluded Rocky Mountain lodge nestled in the tall lodge pole pines of the
Snowy Range located just west of Centenial, Wyoming.
Each day will begin with demonstrations and discussion led by both Joe and
Lynn. After lunch, the afternoon will be yours to work at your own wheel,
walk through the mountian meadows or just relax on the deck and watch the
stream go by. Both Joe and Lynn will be working and available for
questions, critiques and discussion throughout the afternoon. Dinner will
be served, and the evening events will include slides from both artists. A
few meals will be picnics and barbecues at sites like Lake Marie, elevation
11,000, and other local pristine areas in the rockies.
