Hello everybody. I just made a new batch of a standard glaze using cobalt
oxide. The cobalt immediately sunk to the bottom of the bucket and formed a
horrible sludge. No amount of screening put the cobalt into suspension. This
is a new batch of cobalt oxide I just bought from US Pigment. Could there be
something wrong with the cobalt? Is there anything I can add to the glaze to
put the cobalt in suspension? I know cobalt oxide tends to settle out, but ,
believe me, this is extreme. I"d appreciate any advice here. Thanks,
