A friend is looking for an artist making large 7Ft or more garden sculptures.
He prefers modern or totem type pieces. The piece will be located outside in
the California desert area. Will any artist doing this type of work contact
me directly. If you have a website I would appreciate the address. I will
forward. Jim Horvitz Rancho Mirage Ca.

Jim,
You might get in touch with Donna Billick in Davis, Ca. She does a lot
of the outdoor type sculpture using mosiac, ceramic material on a steel
armiture. She also shows at the Natsoulas gallery in Davis as well as The
New Leaf gallery in Berekley to name a few. I can give you her e-mail
address or snail mail if she sounds like a possibility. Mike in Walnut
Creek

My friend N. Skreko Martin did a series of large red pipe sculpture a few
years back. Yep over 6 foot high. After helping her install them I
considered having T shirts printed "Death Wish Piano Movers...art
installations a specialty" She may have a few sculptures & probably has a
list of other clay artists who participated in the terra cotta pipe
workshops. I have a great piece of hers a totem style piece named "Hat Rack
for Endangered Species" Communicate with her at nskreko@theriver.com
Love those people collecting yard sculptures.
Joy
