Hi Everybody!
The Pine Tree Potters' Guild in Aurora, Ontario is holding a "Smokin' Pots
'99 Clay Festival" on June 5 - 6 (Saturday and Sunday) 10:00 to 4:00 pm.
We will be having an outdoor studio where the public can participate by
glazing a bisque piece and then having a Guild member fire it for them in
the Raku Kiln after which they can take it home. We are also having hand
building and wheel demonstrations and a smoke firing, a reduction kiln will
be ready to unload so the public can see a reduction kiln. The local boy
scouts are selling hot dogs and drinks as a fundraiser for their group.
The location is Rivermeade Farm, 14574 Leslie Street, south of Aurora Road.
