Sharon,

I am relatively new to Raku and have not yet had the opportunity to test more
than the few Raku glazes provided by the teaching studio that I attend
(mostly lusters and a white crackle). However, the following websites list
numerous Raku glaze recipes; perhaps you'll find an "interesting matt"
amongst them.

Does anyone have a recipe for an interesting matt raku glaxe that they might
like to share with me? I have a copper sand and have been varying the oxides
for changes in color.
