Hi folks,

It's been a while since I've been heard on the list, looks like everyone is goin
strong...

We're heading out to Montreal Canada next week. I'm there basically for busines
but hopefully there'll be some opportunity to visit some pottery studios and fol
here and there. We've always enjoyed meeting pottery people on our journeys, so
we'll continue to seek them out. Any tips on what to see and not see (especiall
pottery related) would be a great help. Hope to hear from some of you.

thx

I'll be vacationing in Montreal next week and wonder if there are any
galleries, shops, studios, etc. I can visit. I'll have a car, and will
probably go to Quebec as well. Anything along the way?

Ruth;

You must go north of Montreal to a small town in Val-David, Que. The=20
1001POTS 2000 Show is on. There are 120 Potters and ceramistes from Que,=20
Ont, and international. This is where the potters gather every summer. =20
Another place on the way to Quebec is to stop at Troi Riviers. The Ceramic=20
Biannual is on in the old city. It is easy to find. Once you arrive in=20
Trois Riviers, just go towards the river. =20

While in Montreal, Check out Manu Rava on Fairmount and St-Laurent, The=20
Gallery Gaia on Laurier. Farfelu on Somerville in Westmont, and finally go t=
o=20
the old Montreal and visit L'Epreint and the March=E9 Bonsecours.

Hope you have a good vist.
