I am a Roseville collector. In my younger days I was a carpenter and very
good with my hands. I would like to attempt to repair some of my chipped
and/or damaged Roseville and would like to know what kinds of material I
should use, how to use them and the colors of the paint that would match
the Roseville colors. Any help would be appreciated. Jerry

Jerry--
There is an excellent book about pottery repair that came out last year. If you
go to your library, I'm sure you will be able to find it. It has every kind of
repair listed, and what material to use to do what. I can't remember the name,
but I found it in the library under ceramics and pottery. If you look in the
Clayart Archives, my original post on this might be there. It has the name,
author etc. There was a thread on the subject of repair about a year ago.

If you collect, then I would be cautious about any changes you make to the
pieces in question, "repairs" can sometimes affect the value of collectibles.
