Greetings,
I would like to clarify a spelling typo in my letter to the clayart list
yesterday. In the following statement:
Most of you know that Shimpo manufactures ceramic equipment and sells
worldwide through our dealers. What many of you don't know is that ConeArt
Kilns is not a subsidiary of ours.
What was supposed to have been typed was that ConeArt Kilns is now a
subsidiary of ours. So, those of you who sent me e-mails, yes Shimpo does
now own ConeArt Kilns, Inc.
Thank you.

Dear Susan,
Thank you for your clarification. I have owned a small Coneart for 4 years
and would like to know if Shimpo recommends changing all elements out after
a certain number of firings or changing them as needed. I have known
potters who have done it both ways. Also, I am concerned about reaching the
element in the base. Any hints about how a short person could manage this?
Thanks in Advance.
Nancy
