Ceramic Design Group, Colorado Mountain College, The Steamboat Arts
Council, and The Colorado Mountain College Foundation for Excellence in the
Arts is pleased to present a 5 day workshop with Vince Pitelka.
"Form and Imagery in Colored Clays" is open to both beginners and to those
who have some ceramic experience. During the workshop, participants will
learn to make and use colored clays, learn techniques such as marbelizing,
patterened loaf construction, and soft and hard slab construction.
Participants are encouraged to develop their own images and patterns usign
these innovative techniques. The atmosphere is relaxed, informal, and
productive. Extensive handouts will be provided.
