Lori, I recommend that you call the folks at Highwater Clays and ask
them about their experience with mid range stonewares for fountains. If
they have any information they will most certainly share it because they
are ever so nice and helpful. I do know they have a sculptural clay body
called Riverside Grit that some students used in making fountains this
Spring but I don't know how many of them are operational (cone 3-6).
